2010 Trance X Advanced SL 1

Giant's Trance X Advanced SL 1 is a 5-inch trail bike that has the DNA of a race rig. Its full carbon frame makes it light, stiff and sick fast while the 120mm-travel Fox fork gives you enough travel to tame backcountry epics with ease. A 1.5-inch tapered steerer combined with a 15mm through-axle on the fork gives you point and shoot precision that you can feel when rallying wide open singletrack and picking your way through rockgardens. A full XT group including wheels and brakes walks the line of race-ready weight with all-mountain toughness. And, traction duties are aptly handled by perhaps the most versatile tires around, the Kenda Nevegals, while Giant controls and a Fizik saddle round out the specs.

2010 Trance X1

Mountain biking's wonderful rule is simple: what goes up, must come down. Go up and down with ease aboard Giant's Trance X1. Sporting 5-inches of Maestro-suspended travel out back controlled by Fox's sweet Float RP23, the X1 flies up climbs and smooths out rocky descents with speed and agility. Balancing the rear is Fox's sweet F120RL fork with a 15mm through-axle for stiff, precise steering and solid handling. Controlling all this fun is easy, too, with Avid's Elixir stoppers giving you the hold grail of power with modulation. And, awesome all-mountain specs like Giant controls and a Shimano XT/XTR drivetrain with XT wheels make the Trance more than ready for fun, epic rides.
